Resources for Planning Your Land Project

Most people only clear land or dig a foundation once or twice in their lives, so it’s normal to have questions. This is where we keep the things our customers ask about most: photos of real jobs and straight answers to common questions, so you can plan before anyone fires up a machine.

Before You Call: A Quick Planning Checklist

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out. But having a few details handy makes the first conversation faster and helps us give you a more useful estimate.

  • Where the property is. The address or nearest road, and the county.
  • What you want the land to become. A house site, a pasture, a cleaner yard, a driveway, or just usable ground again.
  • Roughly how much area is involved. An acreage estimate or a rough sense of the size is fine.
  • What’s growing on it now. Heavy timber, thick brush and briars, or a mix.
  • Anything you want to keep. Specific trees, a tree line, or an area you want left alone.
  • How a machine gets in. Whether there’s a road, a gate, or a steep stretch to reach the work area.
  • Your timeline. Whether you’re working around a builder’s schedule, a closing date, or just want it done this season.

Photos help too. If you can send a few pictures from different angles, we’ll have a better idea of what we’re walking into.
